About DRIBLR
DRIBLR provides fun, inclusive football-based coaching and fitness sessions.
DRIBLR is operated by DRIBLR Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom.
Our sessions are designed to encourage physical activity, football skills, confidence, teamwork and enjoyment. DRIBLR is not a professional football academy and participation does not guarantee progression or selection for any football club or team.
Bookings
Places are subject to availability.
For children's sessions, bookings must be made by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over.
The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all information provided to DRIBLR is accurate and kept up to date, particularly emergency contact details and relevant medical information.
A child's place is allocated to that child and cannot be transferred to another person.
Fees and monthly payments
DRIBLR sessions operate for 39 weeks of the year, generally during school term time.
Session fees are calculated based on the number of sessions provided during the DRIBLR year and are spread across 12 monthly payments for convenience.
This means that the monthly payment is not a payment for a specific number of sessions taking place within that particular calendar month. Payments continue during school holiday periods because the annual cost of the programme has been divided evenly across 12 months.
Payments are collected automatically using the payment method provided when booking.
The applicable monthly fee will be clearly displayed before a booking is confirmed.
Where a Family PLAYRS booking includes more than one child, the applicable additional-child price will be shown during booking.
Starting your membership
Your booking confirmation will state your child's or participant's start date.
Where a place is booked before DRIBLR's launch or before the relevant programme begins, the membership and payments will commence from the date specified during booking.
Your right to cancel after booking
Where you book online, you may have a legal right to cancel your contract within 14 days of entering into it.
If you ask DRIBLR to begin providing sessions during this 14-day period and subsequently cancel, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already provided.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
Cancelling your DRIBLR membership
After any applicable statutory cancellation period, you may cancel your DRIBLR membership by contacting DRIBLR at hello@driblr.co.uk.
A minimum of four weeks' notice is required to cancel a membership.
If notice of cancellation is given during July, a minimum of eight weeks' notice is required. This is because DRIBLR's annual session fees are spread evenly across 12 monthly payments. The payment collected during the summer break is therefore part of the cost of sessions provided across the DRIBLR year and is not a payment for sessions taking place in August. The longer July notice period prevents memberships being cancelled solely for the summer break and then restarted for the new term. If a membership is cancelled, your child's place will not be held and will be made available to another child.
Membership fees will continue to be payable during the applicable notice period. Your membership and future recurring payments will end once the notice period has been completed.
First-session guarantee We want your child to enjoy DRIBLR and feel comfortable coming back. If, after attending their first session, you decide DRIBLR isn't right for them, please let us know within 48 hours of that first session. We will cancel the membership and refund the value of the remaining sessions covered by your first monthly payment. This applies following your child's first DRIBLR session only. After this, our normal cancellation and notice terms apply. Payments already made are not normally refundable, except under our first-session guarantee above, where required by law, or where DRIBLR agrees otherwise.
We do not impose a fixed-term membership unless this is clearly stated when you book.
Missed sessions
If a participant is unable to attend a scheduled session for any reason, including illness, holidays or other commitments, the session will be considered missed.
Missed sessions are non-refundable and cannot be transferred, credited or made up at another session.
Sessions cancelled by DRIBLR
If DRIBLR cancels a scheduled session, the fee attributable to that session will be refunded.
We will notify parents, guardians or adult participants as soon as reasonably possible using the contact details provided when booking.
Where a session cannot take place because a venue is unavailable, a coach is unable to attend, or for another reason that results in DRIBLR cancelling the session, the same refund arrangement will apply.
Venues, session times and coaches
DRIBLR may occasionally need to make reasonable changes to a session's venue, time or coach.
Where a significant change affects your booking, we will provide as much notice as reasonably possible.
If DRIBLR is unable to provide the booked session as a result of the change and the session is cancelled, the cancellation arrangements in Section 8 will apply.
Parents and guardians
All DRIBLR sessions for children aged 12 and under, a parent or responsible guardian aged 18 or over must remain at the venue for the entire session.
For children aged 13 and over, parents and guardians are welcome to stay and watch but are not required to remain at the venue.
If leaving the venue, the parent or guardian must remain contactable using the emergency contact details provided to DRIBLR and must return promptly before the end of the session.
Parents and guardians are responsible for children before the start of their DRIBLR session and immediately following the end of the session.
Children must be collected promptly at the scheduled finishing time.
Health, medical conditions and additional needs
Parents, guardians and adult participants must inform DRIBLR of any medical condition, allergy, injury, disability or additional need that may reasonably affect safe participation in a session.
This information should be provided when registering and must be updated if circumstances change.
DRIBLR aims to provide inclusive sessions and will consider reasonable adjustments where required. Parents and guardians are encouraged to contact us before the first session where a child may require additional support or adjustments.
Participants should not attend where illness, injury or another condition makes participation unsafe.
Medication and emergencies
Parents and guardians are responsible for providing DRIBLR with accurate emergency contact information and relevant medical information.
If a participant requires emergency medical assistance, DRIBLR may contact the emergency services and will make reasonable efforts to contact the participant's parent, guardian or emergency contact.
Any arrangements concerning medication required during a session must be discussed with DRIBLR in advance.
Clothing and equipment
Participants should wear suitable clothing and footwear for football and physical activity and appropriate for the venue being used.
Participants should bring any items specified by DRIBLR, such as a drink.
DRIBLR will provide the equipment required for the activities unless participants are told otherwise.
Personal belongings
Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings.
DRIBLR cannot accept responsibility for loss of or damage to personal belongings unless the loss or damage results from DRIBLR failing to exercise reasonable care and skill.
Valuable items should not be brought to sessions unless necessary.
Behaviour
DRIBLR aims to provide a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment.
Participants, parents and guardians are expected to behave respectfully towards coaches, other participants, families, venue staff and property.
Bullying, abusive or threatening behaviour, discrimination, deliberate dangerous behaviour or persistent disruption will not be accepted.
Where behaviour creates a safety or safeguarding concern, DRIBLR may require a participant, parent, guardian or other person to leave a session.
For serious or repeated incidents, DRIBLR may end a membership. We will act reasonably when making such decisions and will consider the circumstances of each case.
Safety and participation
Football and physical activity involve an inherent risk of injuries such as trips, falls, bumps and strains.
DRIBLR will take reasonable steps to provide sessions safely and will deliver its services with reasonable care and skill.
Participants must follow reasonable safety instructions given by DRIBLR coaches.
Parents, guardians and participants should inform the coach if they believe an activity is unsuitable because of an injury, medical condition or other relevant circumstance.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability which cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Safeguarding
The safety and welfare of children participating in DRIBLR sessions is important to us.
DRIBLR maintains safeguarding procedures and expects coaches, participants, parents and guardians to follow appropriate standards of behaviour.
Any safeguarding concern should be reported to DRIBLR as soon as possible.
Where necessary, safeguarding information may be shared with relevant authorities or safeguarding organisations in accordance with legal and safeguarding obligations.
Photography and video
Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions does not constitute consent for DRIBLR to use identifiable photographs or videos of a child for marketing or promotional purposes.
Where DRIBLR wishes to use identifiable photographs or video for its website, social media, advertising or other promotional purposes, appropriate permission will be requested separately.
Parents, guardians and other attendees must not take photographs or video recordings during DRIBLR sessions. This is to protect the privacy and safeguarding of all children attending. Any photography or filming by DRIBLR will only take place in accordance with the photography and video consent provided by parents or guardians..
Data protection
DRIBLR collects and uses personal information in order to manage bookings, payments, attendance, communications, safety and the delivery of our services.
Information relating to children, including relevant health or additional-needs information, will only be collected where reasonably necessary.
Further information about how personal information is collected, stored and used is provided in the DRIBLR Privacy Notice.
Changes to fees
DRIBLR may review its prices from time to time.
We will give reasonable advance notice of any change to the price of an existing membership.
If you do not wish to continue following a price increase, you may cancel your membership before the new price takes effect.
Changes to these Terms
DRIBLR may update these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary, for example because of changes to our services, legal requirements or the way DRIBLR operates.
Where a change materially affects an existing customer's rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable notice.
